Interns
Austin Health will be recruiting 54 interns in 2014. Key to the continued success of our program is the support and care given to our interns across this vital introduction to working in the hospital system.
We will be accepting Intern applications for 2014 from Tuesday 30th April 2013. Please ensure your application is submitted in a timely manner as late applications will not be accepted. The last day that applications can be accepted is Friday 7th June 2014.

HMO2
Our second post graduate year (PGY2) medical, general and surgical streams allow you to concentrate on your areas of interest whilst keeping future options open. Personal situations and needs are considered with rostering and there is flexibility in rosters across the year. Austin Health are able to offer a wide variety of great rotations in second year of post graduate training.
Applications for PGY2 positions will open on 27th May 2013 and close on 23rd July 2013

HMO3
As a large tertiary hospital we offer a breadth and depth of third year rotations to hone your clinical development. We value and recognise your need for dedicated program-specific training as well as recognising the importance of balancing work, education and life commitments.
Applications for HMO3 General and Surgical positions will open on 27th May 2013 and close on 21st June 2013. Interviews for these positions will be held in the first two weeks of July 2013. BPT2 applications will open 27th May 2013 and close 12th August 2013.

Registrars
Our Registrars are appointed directly to Austin Health as well as through Victorian and National programs. Details of how to apply for the 24 directly appointed clinical areas at Austin Health are available with individual information sheets including contact details, for each unit.
Many advanced training positions are recruited centrally throughout Victoria. Please refer to the individual college website for instruction and importnat dates. Application dates vary for many of these specialty registar positions - please refer to individual sheets once published.
