Careers - Registrars

Our Registrars are appointed directly to Austin Health as well as through Victorian and National programs. Details of how to apply for the 24 directly appointed clinical areas at Austin Health are available with individual information sheets including contact details, for each unit.

Before you Apply

  • AHPRA Registration number and expiry date
  • Position applying for - in a drop down list
  • Your Resume to attach, Qualifications, Employment History
  • PostGrad details (if any) including: year, degree, Uni name
  • Photo

Please note; if applying for a General Medical Registrar or a Non Accredited General Surgical Registrar position, please refer to the position information sheet for the interview process. Interviews for BPT3+ will be conducted during August.


Check the closing dates carefully, as applications after the closing dates will not be considered.
